    (Child Care Available)

    ED BUILDING ROOM 2

    “The Prodigal God”

Our group will study the parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 through the book The Prodigal God by Timothy Keller.  In this book, Keller addresses the Parable of the Prodigal Son as a parable about the lostness of both brothers and the heart of God the Father that is revealed towards them both.  We suspect that most people can relate to one brother or the other and perhaps both; we certainly can.  This study is about accepting God’s love and mercy without falling into the subtle trap of attempting to earn what cannot be earned though human effort.  This study will not begin until Friday February 22, 2019 as Susy and Jerry will be out of town on the previous week.

  • friday 6:00-7:30pm

Each week, we will look at what it means to worship God; how to deal with temptation; what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit; and how you can know you are saved! A generous topping of snack time, games, and worship time, this is a Super Bible Learner year you won't want to miss. See you a there! This study will not begin until Friday, February 22, 2019.
