"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:115.
On September 2, 2020, the Lord called home one of His precious saints, Monique Ladosz. When most would have retired to a comfortable life the Lord called Monique to serve with Widow's Mite in Rwanda and Uganda. With humility, love and boundless energy and vision she faithfully served, equipped and brought the gospel to countless widows and orphans who would come to know her as their beloved Nanny. She will be missed by her family here, her adopted family in Uganda and Rwanda and by all of us who knew her and loved her. Monique always ended her emails with "IN HIS SERVICE UNTIL HE COMES BACK OR CALLS ME HOME." Today her precious Savior called her home. We grieve, but with the certain hope that we will see her again and spend eternity together with her and with those who came to know the Lord through her ministry.
A memorial service will be held in her honor Sunday, October 11 at 3:00PM at Manahawkin Baptist Church. It will also be streamed online, viewable below. We will be hosting the service outside (weather permitting), following NJ social distancing standards: please bring your own chairs and plan according to the weather.
