7 core commitments

  • 1. Transforming lives through the gospel

The goal of our preaching and teaching is to proclaim the full counsel of God, centered in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and emphasizing the doctrines of grace. We are committed to providing the exposition of biblical truth that transforms lives through clear explanation and practical application.

  • 2. The word of god is proclaimed

We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God and are wholly sufficient to accomplish our mission. We strive to make the Word of God central in all we do. The Bible is our final authority in matters of faith and conduct.

  • 3. Worshipping a god who is worthy

We declare the supremacy of God in our worship services. With modestly contemporary yet scriptural music we exalt God. We minimize distractions e.g. announcements and seek a flow from invocation to benediction. We seek worship that invokes participation and appreciation because of its beauty and substance.

  • 4. Living in loving community

Christian fellowship flows from our union with Christ. As members of one body, we seek to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Recognizing the differences that are inherent to a multi-generational and multi-cultural congregation, we seek to encourage one another toward a vibrant walk of faith and obedience in Christ.

  • 5. Discipleship that is relational and intentional

We are commissioned by our Lord to make disciples, devoted followers of Christ who submit to His Lordship. By training, mentoring, and encouraging believers, we seek to develop Christians who are godly examples in the church, home and world. Our desire is that all would fulfill their calling in the advancement of God's evangelistic mission.

  • 6. serve god, each other, and our neighbor

Following the example of our Lord, who came not to be served but to serve, our objective is to identify, develop, and utilize the gifts and talents God has given to every believer for building up the body of Christ and for serving our community.

  • 7. A life of prayer

Commanded and modeled in the Word of God, prayer is essential to the life and power of the church. Therefore, we encourage frequent and fervent prayer in corporate, family and private settings. We are utterly dependent on God, and only through his power we will accomplish our mission.
